Charles A. Enos, "Chuck" 75, of Danville passed away at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL at 7:44 PM on October 7, 2025

Chuck was born in Chicago, IL on February 22, 1950, the son of Charles and Maxine (Reinke) Enos. He married Julie McKee on December 11, 1973, in Danville, IL and she preceded him in death on March 19, 2009.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Dixie) Enos of Oakwood, his daughter, Lauren Enos (James Kincade) of Danville, his significant other, Cari Birkle of Danville, Cari’s children, Victor Birkle of Danville, Alex (Marissa) Birkle of Germany and Tyler Birkle of Danville, two grandchildren, Gracie Enos and Walker Enos, siblings, Steve (Patricia) Enos, Terri Enos, Donna Goodwin and Tracy (Lori) Enos.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Julie Enos, and three siblings, Scott Enos, Judy Enos and Joan Enos.

Chuck graduated from Danville High School in 1968. Over the years he was a man of many trades working as a machinist, welder, truck driver and in maintenance. In his younger years Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. In more recent years you would find Chuck watching the Big Bang Theory and enjoying his Koi pond however what Chuck loved the most was visiting with his family especially his grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois, 61834. Raymie Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
