Charles 'Eddie' Weston

Charles "Eddie" Edward Weston, 62, of Danville, passed away at 9:15 p.m. December 1st, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Eddie was born on July 20th, 1949, in Danville, the son of Kenneth and Violet (Witty) Weston. He married Wanda Kay Landon on April 14th, 1976, in Danville. She preceded him in death on September 26th, 2010. He is survived by two sons- Tim Landon and Kenny (Carle Foster) Weston both of Danville; one brother- Steve Weston of Danville; two sisters- Cathy Weston and Pam Brannin both of Danville; two sisters-in-law- Charlotte (Jim) Whitington and Janet (Bill) Irons both of Danville; seven grandchildren- Destiny Landon, Damien Landon, Caleb Harper, Zara Weston, Alexa Weston, Elizabeth Foster and Taylor Foster; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Eddie graduated from Danville High School. He worked for 32 years at Quaker Oats in Danville as a machine operator. He enjoyed reading, fishing, bowling, playing cards, going to flea markets, and spending time with his family and friends. A Celebration of the life of Charles "Eddie" Edward Weston will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor James Blue officiating.
