Charles "Dick" "Chuck" Kidwell 67 of Danville passed away Saturday October 16, 2004 in Las Vegas NV while on vacation. He was born October 13, 1937 in Ury, West Virginia the son of Harry and Lula Shadden Kidwell. He married Janet E. Molyneaux on January 16, 1958 in Astoria, OR. She survives. Also surviving: his mother, Lula Lambert of Danville; one son, Charles "Rick" (Christy) Kidwell Jr. of Danville; one daughter; Dr. Kimberlee K. Kidwell of Pullman, WA, whose accomplishments Chuck was very proud of; one brother, Jim Bob (Ann) Lambert of Urbana; four sisters, Audry (Joe) Vira of Cranberry, WV, Marie Jones of Oakwood, Ruth (Gene) Lampin of Godfrey, and Joy (Ray) Maxey of Melbourne, FL; and three grandchildren, Kriquet, Kelsey, and Kody Kidwell. His father, his infant son, a special cousin Sonny Childers, and Elvis preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later worked at Tee-Pak for 32 years retiring in 2000. Dick was a 32-degree mason with Anchor lodge 980 and Scottish Rite Valley of Danville. He was a former member of Moose lodge 1001; He collected Elvis memorabilia, Beanie Babies, frog's rocks and hats. Dick was an avid cubs baseball fan along with the Minnesota Vikings football, he loved yard work and growing roses. Dick loved his mother, sisters, and brother and nieces and nephews very much. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and following there sports and interest.
