Charles 'Chuck' Sanders

Charles Chuck Sanders, 75, of Covington, Indiana, passed away at 8:00am, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 7, 1946, in Kingman, IN, the son of Arthor Howard and Ruby Pearl Sanders. He was married to Brenda Trosper on July 31, 1976, until her passing on December 9, 2002. Chuck is survived by his children, Tracy Clark, Bill Clark, Jennifer (Michael) Cook, Joe (Sheila Bromley) Sanders; his grandchildren, Tamra (Mathew) Gullion, Daniel (Kristen Michelle) Kahler, Allison (Brett) Williams, Denver , Hunter, Nevada, Cody, Shyann Boyer, & Jordan Cook; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Jasmine, Markus, Nathan, Hunter, Christopher, Cambria, Lilian, Adaline, Isaac, Miles, Ember, Shea, Cassie, Amanda, & Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his mother; stepdad, William Bill Stembaugh; his first wife, Harrietta Bacon; and his daughter, Judy Clark. Chuck worked for Roger Herzog Company as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed Westerns and watching his grandkids play baseball. He was a race car and derby car racing enthusiast. He will be missed by many. A celebration of Chucks life will be held at 12:00pm (EST), Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Thomas Cemetery, Newport, IN.
