Charles Arnett

Charles "Charley" Arnett, 65, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 5:09pm, Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at his home. He was born on March 17, 1954, in Danville, IL, the son of Ethrie and Dorothy {Steeples} Arnett, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley.

Charley will be missed by: his brothers, Gerald (Judy) Arnett, Earl (Billie) Arnett, Marvin (Brenda) Arnett, Leroy Arnett, & Jr Arnett.

Charley was known to be a big fan of sports, especially a New York Yankees fan, as well as the Fighting Illini. Charley was a graduate of Ridge Farm High School class of 1972, where he loved to play basketball and football.

A Memorial to celebrate Charleys life will be held at a later time. He will be accorded cremation rites with the assistance of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Charleys name to Ridge Farm Public Library.
