Charles Albert Garner

Charles Albert Garner, age 86, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Marlene (Borgwald) Garner, brother Cecil and Betty (Bridgewater) Garner and sister Ann (Garner) Gallinat.

Charles is the son of late Cecil and Cassie "Jewel" Garner, beloved father of Julie (H. Jeffrey) Pilgrim and Janet Garner, treasured Brother-in-law, Uncle, and friend to many.

A long-time member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157.

A Celebration of Charles life will be held at 11 am on Saturday November 6, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10am to 11am at the Funeral Home. Immediately following the service Charles will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery at 301 E. Voorhees St. Danville, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Charles name to The Alzheimers Association.
