Charlene Louise Forshier Charlene Forshier, 86, of Danville IL., passed away at 5:45 pm on Thursday December 5, 2013 at her sons home in Danville. Charlene was born on June 14, 1927 in Danville, the daughter of Charles and Ellen (Owens) Elliott. She Married William Forshier April 27, 1948 in Danville. Surviving are three children: William Robert (Brenda) Forshier, Charles (Tina) Forshier, and Deborah Dawson all of Danville; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother Bob (Beverley) Elliott of Arizona. A best friend Nancy Butler and her care companion Amy Hume Charlene was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, her brother Billy Elliott, and her sister Patricia Elliott. Charlene and her husband once owned The Alibi Inn on Main Street. She also worked at The Lamp Lighter, 610 Tap, The Greer Lincoin Hotel, and Rosie Tavern. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. A graveside service to Celebrate the life of Charlene will be at Oak Hill Cemetery on Monday December 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family of Charlene request memorial donations be made to Presence Hospice in her name.
