Charla E. Quartier

Charla E. Quartier, 60, of Westville, passed away at 8:36pm, Monday, September 30, 2019, at her home. She was born on September 29, 1959, the daughter of Charles and Eunice {Bossoloni} Quartier.

Charla was a teacher with the Westville School District for many years. She loved her dogs and her family. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking and was very skilled at sewing and embroidery. She loved spending time with her good friends and hanging out at the Westville American Legion. She was a member of the Westville Legion Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by those who loved and cared for her.

Charla leaves behind her significant other of 36 years, George Chiaramello; her step-daughter, Angie Hamer; her step-granddaughter, Dannaka Hamer; her brothers, Nick Quartier and Scott (Kathe) Quartier; her nephews, Christopher (Amber) Quartier, Adam (April) Quartier, Bryce (Jenna) Quartier, & Daniel Quartier; her great nieces & nephews, Ava Arroyo, Dylan, Logan, Charlize, Ivy, & Hattie Quartier. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Earl Quartier.

A celebration of Charlas life will be held at 12:00pm, Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, located at 414 S. State Street. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Breast Cancer Research, Westville American Legion, or Westville Community Academic Foundation.
