Cecil T. Kingrey, 83, of Danville died on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 4:50pm at his residence. Cecil was born December 7, 1934 in Summershade, KY. The son of John W. and Vera C. (Gooden) Kingrey. He married Nell Finch on June 23, 1956 in Danville. He was a truck driver for many years, retiring from Holland Trucking. He was retired for 21 years. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers; Veachel and Clyde, and nephew; Mike Kingrey. He is survived by his wife along with his children; Sabrina (Bob) Donnelly and John Kingrey, grandson; Jason Donnelly, granddaughter Amber Wells, great granddaughter; Bailey Wells nephews Mark Kingrey, Randy (Stacey) Kingrey and niece Tina (John) Fraczek. Cecil was a member of the Local 26 Retiree Club. He enjoyed visiting with his truck driving friends. He was a member of Anchor Lodge 980, Valley of Danville Scottish Rite, Gao Grotto, Ansar Shrine, and E.I. Shrine. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville has been entrusted with arrangements. Per Cecil's wishes cremation rights will be accorded and there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital. The family would like to give a special thanks to Carle Hospice caregivers.
