Cathy Palmer

Cathy J. Palmer, 65, of Danville passed away at 9:20 AM on September 7, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.

Cathy was born on June 10, 1958 the daughter of Roy and Barbara (Denny) Boyer, Sr in Danville, IL. She married Curtis Palmer on November 19, 1993 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2017.

Survivors include her children, John (Ana) OToole of Georgetown, IL, Donald OToole of Danville, IL and Curits Palmer, Jr of Danville, IL, eight grandchildren, Jacob, Adamm Mandi, Heaven, Devin, Gavin, Andrew and Leia as well as one sister, Joyce Harden of Danville, IL.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Curtis Palmer, Sr.

Cathy was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Danville, IL and enjoyed spending her free time watching her television programs, especially, Days of our Lives, Young and the Restless, The Price is Right and the Andy Griffith Show.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834. Pastor Dave Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the funeral home.
