Cathy Lynn Adams

Danville- Cathy Lynn Adams, 54, of Charleston, IL passed away at 8:29 PM on November 23, 2011 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Charleston. She was born on July 30, 1957 in Danville to John Adams and Dorothy E. Story. Surviving is an aunt, Hazel (Robert) Livesay of Apache Junction, AZ; cousin/guardian Don Dunavan of Danville; as well as several other cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother. Cathy had been a resident at CCAR industries in Charleston since 1990. She enjoyed watching Disney movies, collecting stuffed bears, and pop, pie, and tea. She also enjoyed trips to McDonalds, going to the Mall, and participating in the Special Olympics. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to CCAR Industries, especially Michelle and Tim, for their care over the years. A service to celebrate the life of Cathy Adams will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Miles Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at Walnut Corner Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cathy's residence home c/o CCAR Industries in Charleston.
