Cathy Jo Tibbetts

Cathy Jo Tibbetts, 61, of Danville passed away at her home at 10:10 am on October 21, 2012. Cathy was born on April 13, 1951 in Danville IL. to Norman Dale and Peggy Jean Coonce. She married William Seilhymer on May 23, 1966, he preceded her in death. She married Michael Tibbetts on January 11, 1997, he survives. Other survivors include her daughter Peggy Lynn (Clyde)Weaver, three grandchildren Billie Joe Bruce of Conyers GA, Robert Powell of Danville and Ryan Powell of Danville, two great-grandsons Robert and William Powell also of Danville, Stepdad Richard W. Hamilton of Danville, six stepchildren, a very special Aunt Sharon and Bill Baker of Tilton IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Michael D. Coonce, and a sister Peggy Lynn. Cathy was a 1978 graduate of Danville High School. She worked for Time-O-Matic Inc for twelve years where she made informational signs. Cathy loved her children and had a passion for cooking good meals to serve her family. On the date of August 14, 2012 Cathy received into her heart her lord Jesus Christ followed by a water baptism. A celebration of Cathy's life will be held at 9:00 am on October 25, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Rev. Bill Wiggins officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 on October 24, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville.
