Cathie Miller

Cathie Miller, 63, of Georgetown, passed away at 9:31am, Thursday, October 22, 2020, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on April 21, 1957, in Danville, the daughter of Russel and Wilma {Goble} West. She was united in marriage to Leroy Miller on December 16, 1978. He survives. She is also survived by: her mother, Wilma West; her children, Brenda (Kevin) Smith, Melodie (Mark) Smith, & Chris (Michelle) Miller; her nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; and her sister, Connie (Steve) Dodson. She was preceded in death by her father, Russel; an infant brother, William Dean West; and infant great grandson, Zaine. Cathie worked at KIK for many years. She liked playing music and reading books. as well as going to races. She also enjoyed crafting with yarn and tending to her flower garden. A celebration of Cathies life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor Ryan Harris officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service at the funeral home on Thursday. It is kindly requested that face masks be worn, and social distancing is practiced by those in attendance of the visitation and service. She will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Danville.
