Catherine Hazel Atkinson

Catherine Hazel Atkinson, 68, of Danville at 1:53pm on Friday August 29, 2008. Catherine was born on November 30, 1939 in Catlin the daughter of Albert Joseph and Elizabeth Sands Thomas. Catherine was the loving mother of sons Curt, Russell, Jeff (Crystal) and the late Mark Shane Atkinson; dearest grandmother of nine and great grandmother of two; dear sister of brothers Nelson, Ernest, and Gary Thomas, Annabelle McNeese, Bonnie Johnson, Helen Ward and Lois Lomax. Catherine loved shopping and most of all cooking; the family will always remember her Sunday fried chicken. Many will miss her.
