Catherine Delattre

WESTVILLE - Catherine M. DeLattre, 81, of Westville passed away at 2:44 p.m. Sunday December 31, 2006 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on February 16, 1925 in Gary, IN the daughter of Richard and Catherine M. Carroll Wake. She married Lawrence DeLattre on January 27, 1942 in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1991. Survivors include: one son, Larry (Mary) DeLattre of Georgetown, one daughter, Carol (Clarence) Martin of Marion, IN, son-in-law, Tom Hamblin of Westville, one brother, Richard Jr. (Alice) Wake of Bradenton, FL, five grandchildren, Rachel (Kip) Stonebraker of Danville, Cynthia (Craig) Beals of Robinson, IL, Jesse Landers of Covington, Liana Hamblin of Westville, and Christopher (Misty) Cooke of Westville, and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Donna Hamblin, and one sister, Roseada Alesi. Catherine was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, flea marketing, and antiquing. She loved playing in euchre tournaments. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
