Cassandra Louise Lake

Danville Cassandra Louise Lake, 32, of Danville passed away on August 25, 2021 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Urbana, IL.

Cassandra was born on January 6, 1989 the daughter of Audey Frank and Donna Marie (Nelson-Lewin) Lake, Sr in Danville, IL.

Cassandra is survived by her son, Aeden Alexander McConkey of Danville, IL, her parents, Audey and Donna Lake, Sr., of Georgetown, IL, significant other, Benjamin Manning of Danville, IL, siblings, Audey (Laura) Lake, Jr., of Charleston, IL, Brandi (Matt) Carl of Hoopeston, IL, Christopher Lake of Bloomington, IL and Terra (Josh Nord) Lake of Danville, IL, as well as her maternal grandmother, Maryann Howell of Westville, IL and her step-grandmother, Beverly Lake of Attica, IN.

Cassandra is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather as well as a nephew, Kaeden Andrew Lee.

Cassandra was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed being a mom to her son. She also enjoyed spending her free time reading, singing, especially karaoke.

A Celebration of Life will be at held at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church 824 East Main Street Danville, Illinois 61832. Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the church. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
