WESTVILLE - Cash Harlan Pridemore, 86, of Westville passed away at 8:37 a.m. Friday December 1, 2006 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. He was born on May 31, 1920 in Hawbuck, IL the son of Joseph Clinton and Iva Hensley Pridemore. Survivors include: one son, Ronald (Cindy) Pridemore of Oakwood; two brothers, Marshal (Caroline) Pridemore of Westville and Jack (Ginger) Pridemore of Hawbuck, IL; one sister, Fonda (Bud) Cox of Lumberton, N.C.; two grandchildren, Rachal (Bradley) Roach of Bloomington, IL and Nathan Pridemore of Oakwood; a special friend, Agnes Ladd of Danville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gene Pridemore and Loren Cope, and one sister, Joy Rae Harold. Cash worked as a machinist on the pattern maker at GM. He retired on October 1, 1975 after thirty-three years of service. He was a former member of the U.A.W #579. He was a member of the Catlin Masonic Lodge #285, Past Master of the Scottish Rite Valley of Danville, and an honorary member of the Bloomfield and Ogden Lodges. Cash was a part of the Civilian Conservation Corps and was a member of the Westville Sportsman Club. Cash enjoyed antique cars and Mushroom hunting. He loved playing cards and especially loved his grandkids. A celebration of Cashs life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday December 4, 2006 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel of Westville. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday December 3, 2006 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Carle Hospice, 206A W Anthony Dr, Champaign, IL, 61822.
