Casey Lee Elliott

Casey Lee Elliott, 42, of Danville, IL., passed away at 6:40 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at home surrounded by his familys love.

Casey was born September 14, 1981, in Danville, IL. to Jerry Lee and Cheri (Yanko) Elliott. He graduated from Oakwood High School in 1999. Casey married Sarah Pritchett on April 2, 2011. He had a 20-year career at Fiberteq.

He is survived by his wife Sarah, his beloved daughters Aria and Ally; his mother, Cheri Elliott; his sister, Tami Elliott; his brother, Bryan (Shelley) Elliott; his nieces and nephews Logan Elliott, Leighton Elliott, Lauryn Elliott, Justin Shaw, and Angela (Dale) Riegle; his great-nieces Preslee and Ava Shaw, Everleigh Elliott, and Lucienne Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Elliott; maternal grandparents Virginia Ruth (Brownsing) and Emery A. Yanko; and paternal grandparents Helen Mamie (Evans) and Otis Loren Elliott.

Casey was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Casey loved sports, especially watching his daughters play softball and basketball as well as coaching their teams. He was an avid Michigan Wolverines, Raiders and Astros fan. He enjoyed spending time at the shooting range, fishing and kayaking. He could often be found at the grill making incredible meals. Casey was a life member of both Pleasant View 782 Masonic Lodge and Gao Grotto.

A Memorial Service for Casey will be held at 3pm Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL., 61834 with Pastor Al Rudie officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm-3pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the funeral home with Mason Rites immediately following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the account of Bryan and Sarah Elliott at TeePak Credit Union to benefit the education of his daughters.
