Cayuga, Ind. -- Cary Michael Grube, 45, of rural Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 8 p.m. EDT Sunday, October 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born May 17, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Michael and Kathryn Brown Grube. Survivors include his children: Brittany Grube of Indianapolis, Indiana; Brandon Grube, Garrett Grube, Sierra Grube and Katie Grube all of Cayuga, Indiana; his parents of Newport, Indiana; two sisters, Susan Grube of Las Vegas, Nevada and Cindy(Carlo)Mandolini of Perrysville, Indiana; one niece, Carley Grube; four nephews, Marco Mandolini; Nicoli Mandolini; Rico Mandolini and William Grube. Cary was a self-employed truck driver. He was a 1981 graduate of North Vermillion High School. He was a former contractor in Florida. Cary enjoyed farming, scuba diving, hunting, camping, fishing, reading and NASCAR, especially car #31(Jeff Burton). Cary enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a very devoted father and loved his kids very much. He enjoyed taking them on trips throughout the United States. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Friday, October 31, 2008 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana, cremation to follow; Officiating: Rev. Andy Spencer; Burial of cremains will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana at a later date. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
