Cary Lee Askren

Cary Lee Askren passed away peacefully at his residence on October 20, 2010. He was born on July 27, 1959, to Betty Sheppard who preceded him in death. Cary graduated from Washington School in Danville, IL, and attended Vermilion County Rehab Center. He has attended the Day Training program at Crosspoint Human Services since 1982. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan and a Special Olympics participant. Cary was a true gentleman who touched the lives of many. He will be especially missed by his housemates, classmates, and his special friends from the Ruble family. A graveside celebration of Carys life will be 11:30am, Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Georgetown Cemetery. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Chapel, A Life Celebration Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
