Carroll Eugene Hamilton Sr.

Carroll Eugene Hamilton Sr., 61, of Danville, died at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at V.A. Illiana Health Care Systems of Danville. He was born March 20, 1944 in Gary, Indiana the son of Charles and Ruth Marie (Rater) Harman. He married Alla Lee Bowling on March 23, 1968 in Richmond, Indiana. She survives. He is survived by 1 Son- Carroll E. (Michelle) Hamilton Jr. of Westville, Illinois; 1 Daughter- Beverly (Dwayne) Smith of Powder Springs, Georgia; 1 Foster Daughter- Janeta (Joseph) Quick of Danville; 1 Brother- Charles (Loretta) Hamilton of Lake Village, Indiana; 2 Sisters- Shirley Hamilton of Smyrna, Georgia and Beverly (Jackie) Caswell of Edina, Missouri; 4 Grandchildren- Lori Ann Hamilton, Ashley Hamilton, and Ryan Hamilton of Westville, IL and Cassidy Samantha Smith of Powder Springs; 1 foster grandson- Ayden Quick of Danville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 Brothers. Carroll graduated from Hobert High School in Hobert, Indiana in 1962. He joined the Air Force in 1964 where he served as an Airmen First Class. After the service Carroll worked as an electrician. Carroll was a member of First United Pentecostal Church and loved to go to flea markets and rummage sales.
