Carolyn Sue Sullivan

Carolyn Sue (Mullins) Sullivan, 73 years of age, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2023.

She was born May 29, 1950, in Danville, Illinois to Otis "Moon" and Martha (Ervin) Mullins.

She graduated from Danville High School in 1968 and married Sammy Ray Sullivan on June 3, 1972. They enjoyed 31 years together until his passing in 2003.

Carolyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She worked at several Danville area businesses throughout her life, retiring from her position as a baker at Royal Donut in 2015. She maintained a strong wit and sense of humor throughout her life, delighting those around her. In years past, she enjoyed camping and fishing at Fairmount Quarry.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, and her sister Linda Newlin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving partner Randy Nipper and her brothers Douglas (Janet) Mullins and Glenn (Marcey) Mullins, as well as her nieces and nephews. Carolyn was very proud of her nieces and nephews and their many accomplishments.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be interred with her husband at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Danville Humane Society 1225 N Collett Street, Danville, IL. 61832 or www.danvillehumane.org.
