Carolyn S. Ziemnisky

Carolyn Sue Ziemnisky, 74, of Danville, IL passed away at 4:53 AM on August 13, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Carolyn was born on November 7, 1949 in Danville, IL the daughter of Ernie and Helen (Lourance) Cox. She was previously married to Paul Ziemnisky, Sr and she preceded in death in January of 2023.

Survivors include her sons, Paul (Cindy) Ziemnisky of Libertyville, IL and Chris (Kendra) Ziemnisky of Danville, IL, seven grandchildren, Tayler (Noah) Brazzle of Clarksville, TN Christian (Raegen Moreman) Ziemnisky of Homer, IL, Addyson Ziemnisky and Alyza Ziemnisky both of Danville, IL, Kelsey Ziemnisky of Nashville, TN, Jenna Ziemnisky and Cara Ziemnisky both of Libertyville, IL, three great grandchildren, Keatyn, Audrielle and Dagny Brazzle all of Clarksville, TN, one brother, Ernie "Bud" (Sue) Cox of Wade, NC and her Chihuahua, "Max".

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially taking her dog "Max" on walks and cooking a variety of dishes and desserts. She was known for her pies and cakes, as well as her Italian Beef.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 2-5:00 PM at Flight Line Event Center located at the Vermilion County Airport, 22633 North Bowman Avenue, Danville, Illinois 61834. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made in Carolyns memory to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
