Carolyn J. Nantz

Carolyn J. (Majercin) Nantz, 62, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1969, passed away at her home with her husband Eric, and her two sons, Devin and Matthew by her side on January 21, 2011. She was born October 29, 1948 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Carl and Marge Majercin who have preceded her in death but is survived by her three sisters, Shirley Brewer, Melanie Majercin, and Pamela Majercin of Danville, and two brothers. Jeffrey Majercin of Danville and Douglas (Carolyn) Majercin of Mansfield, IL. also survive her. Carolyn was retired from AT&T after 30 years of customer service. In her retirement, she enjoyed doing the things she loved, baking, cooking, and gardening. Her loves were her husband, and children, her collection of Beanie Babies, Precious Moments figurines, dolls, hummingbirds, angels, candles, and Colorados wildlife. A Celebration of Carolyn Nantzs Life will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St, in Danville with inurnment to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Westville. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
