Carolyn F. Frye

Carolyn F. Frye, 74, of Oakwood, passed away at 9:25 PM on April 5, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Champaign. Carolyn was born on October 2, 1937 in Danville the daughter of Robert and Rosalie (Musson) Morris. She married Bill Frye on October 18, 1955 in Paris, IL. He survives. She is survived by two sons- Tony (Kim) Frye of Oakwood and Jim (Judy) Frye of Oakwood, one daughter- Teri (Mike) Randall of Oakwood, one brother Wayne Morris of Danville, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter-Lori Sellers, one great-grandson-Chance Bear, one sister-in-law- Claudette Moore and her step-mother- Martha Sullivan. Carolyn attended Oakwood High school then became a homemaker. She loved reading her bible and most of all spending time with her family. A Celebration of Carolyn's life will take place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel with Pastor Allen Rudie officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM prior to the memorial service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Bill Frye for help with the funeral expenses.
