Carolyn Cornwell

Carolyn Cornwell, 84, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at Villas of Hollybrook, Danville. She was born on March 13, 1937, in Anna, Illinois the daughter of Russell and Elma {Backman} Beasley. She was united in marriage to Frank Cornwell on September 3, 1960, in Danville, until his passing on August 12, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Brad (Monica) Cornwell, Steven (Cindy) Cornwell, & Brian Cornwell; her grandchildren, Broc, Kaylee, Brianna, & Parker; and her great grandson, Frank. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Bill Beasley. Carolyn loved taking care of her family. She worked at South Danville TV and sold real estate. She was always there to watch her sons play sports and was their biggest fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Georgetown Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
