Carolyn Ann Query

Carolyn Ann Query, 79, of Westville passed away at home on December 30, 2023. She was born on October 21, 1944 in Dana, Indiana to parents Luella and Harold Myers. They preceded her in death. She grew up in Cayuga and graduated from Newport High School.

Carolyn was employed at the Days Inn Hotel in Danville for over 25 years. There she did a little bit of everything, including housekeeping and cooking. In her free time, she enjoyed reading a good book, coloring and completing puzzles. She collected porcelain dolls, angels and loved ELVIS & NASCAR.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was also preceded by her companion of over 40 years, Louis Kotcher, in 2012; her son Darrin Query, in 2007; and siblings Sarah, Linda, Tina, Bud, and Patty.

Carolyn is survived by her sons Lawrence "Cory" Query (Angela) and Zackary (Dawn) Query; Louies children Kari, Kevin, Kris, and Kacey and their families; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. She also leaves behind her sisters - Robin Henager and Joy Harper; Aunts Norma Patterson & Dorothy Martin; Uncle Marvin "Bud" Myers (Sue); and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Carolyn will be held at 1:00 pm EST on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Thomas Cemetery in Cayuga, Indiana. Online condolences and fond memories can be shared with her family at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
