Caroline S. Miller, 72, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:25am, Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on July 12, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Harold Ted' and Arizona {Poynter} Ellis. She was united in marriage to Benjamin J. Ben' Miller on August 7, 1960, in Danville, IL, until his passing. She is survived by: her 5 sons, Steve (Billie) Miller, Benny (Sharon) Miller, Allen Miller, Danny Miller, & Chad (Michelle) Miller; her daughter, Kandy (Rick) Betout; her 11 grandchildren, Samantha (Brian) Kirkwood, Sabrina (Brock) Doggett, Autumn (Ryan) Pecchenino, Brandy, Angela, Kyle, Dustin, Brandon, Austin, & Shelby Miller, & Destiny Barney; her 21-plus great grandchildren; and several "adopted" kids, especially, Tillie Welsch. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Harry, and her daughter-in-law, Cindy. Caroline liked playing Bingo and woodworking. She loved her dog, Lady. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. A celebration of Caroline's life will be held at 1:30pm, Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 11:30am until service time on Sunday. As per her wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial donations may be given in her name to America Heart Association.
