Caroline Pridemore

Caroline Pridemore, 97, of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at her home. she was born on January 4, 1925, in Westville, IL, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Barney) Lipowsky. Caroline was united in marriage to Marshall D. Pridemore on February 15, 1942. He preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed by her children, Marshall (Dianne) Pridemore of Clackamas, OR, Paul (Carol) Pridemore of Covington, IN, Thomas (Kathy) Pridemore of Popular Bluff, MO and Debra Zoerb of Ridge Farm, IL; grandchildren, Annette Warbritton, Marianne Richard, John Pridemore, Robert Pridemore, Paula Brasel, Sherry Phelps, Sally Machala, Thomas Pridemore, Andrew Pridemore, and David Zoerb. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anna Marie; great granddaughter, Anastasia Zoerb; son in law, Stephen Zoerb, three brothers, and two sisters. Caroline enjoyed many things in life including sewing, needlepoint, reading poems, as well as gardening, crossword puzzles, and singing. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Carolines life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Westville, Illinois, 414 S. State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home, prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to South Side Church of Christ and Carle Hospice.
