Carole Ann Trowbridge

Carole Ann Trowbridge, 71 of Danville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at 3:39 PM at Presence United Samaritans Medical center in Danville. She is survived by her loving husband, David Trowbridge of Danville; daughters, Jill (Bill) Brinkoetter of Champaign and Dawn (Tim) Lee of Oakwood; grandchildren, Logan Lee, Kale Brinkoetter, Cameron Lee, Jade Brinkoetter, and Parker Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Helen Snyder. Carole was born November 4, 1943 in Danville to Bart and Helen (Albert) Snyder. She graduated from Henning High School in 1961 and went on to attend business college. Carole worked at Ludwig Insurance for several years. She married her husband, David Trowbridge, on June 30, 1962 in Danville. Carole attended Oakwood Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and making jewelry. Above all, Carole loved to be involved in her grandchildrens lives and attended as many of their events as she possibly could. She was their biggest fan. A Celebration of Caroles life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Pastor Patti Wise will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday, January 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
