Carol Swearingen

Carol Lee Swearingen, 83, of Danville, IL passed away at 12:12 AM on February 6, 2024 at Arcadia Care in Danville, IL.

Carol was born on November 30, 1940 the daughter of Wesley Wayne and Elsie Waneta (Weber) Middleton in Danville, IL. She was formerly married to Samuel Cox and later married William Swearingen in June of 1985 in Cayuga, IN. William preceded her in death on April 23, 2013.

Survivors include her son, Monte (Gina) Cox, one granddaughter, Jenni Cox, as well as five siblings, Alan (Belinda) Middleton, Robert (Amy) Lee, Gary (Misty) Lee, Wes "Duke" (Judy) Middleton and Dean (Nicole) Middleton.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol retired from R&S Printing and was an active and independent woman throughout her life. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening, especially taking care of her rose bushes, and was a wonderful cook.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. Pastor Ken Cameron will officiate.
