Carol J. Page

Carol Jeanne Page, 68, of Bismarck passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical center in Urbana, IL. She was born the daughter of Albert and Gertrude Korris on January 11, 1950. They precede her in death. Also preceding her in death include daughter, Lori Page; and brother, Ralph Korris. Carol leaves behind her husband, Donald Page; one son, Garret (Pam) Page of Nason, IL; siblings, Steven (Linda) Korris of Kirkwood, MO and Lynn Manning of Benld, IL; one grandchild, Gabriel Page; and a "Bestest Friend" Aurelia Hudgens of Mt. Vernon. Carol was talented in many things such as cross stitching, charcoal pencil drawing, and oil painting. She loved art and loved to create art. Her cross-stitch picture of an eagle took "Best of Show" at a competition sponsored by the General Federation of Women's Club in Springfield, IL. Carol also loved playing the piano and organ. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis years ago which forced her to give up many of her hobbies. She has now broken the chain that has confined her to her wheelchair and can create art again. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Heidle. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Friday, September 21st from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
