Carol Haskins

Carol Sue Haskins, 68, of Westville passed away at 8:20 p.m. Saturday September 18, 2010 on the day that would have been her mothers 95th birthday. She was born on August 6, 1942 in Danville, IL the daughter of Charles T. and Lelia V. (Wiltermood) Gastent. She married George E. Haskins on February 21, 1959 in Danville, IL. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Tony A. Haskins of Westville, her daughter Terri L. (John) Cox of Danville, her brother, Charles A. (Barbara) Gastent of Westville, her sister, Frances A. Becker of Georgetown, a special sister-cousin, Patty (Zig) Knight of Westville, her grandchildren, Heather Camren, Nick (Natalie) Blue, Christopher White, Shawn White, Christy Haskins, and Max Byerly, her great grandchildren, Hannah, Alex, Nathan, and Connor Blue, David, Morgan, and Hunter Saunders, Xiommy, Alex, and Deandre Camren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling. She loved her dogs Otis, Lucy, and Minnie. Carols family would like to give a special thanks to the Provena Hospice Nurses, Cheryl, Colleen, Debbie, Sherri, and Judy. They would also like to thank all the nurses and Dr. Labayog and the Provena Cancer Center in Danville.
