Carol Candido

Carol J. Candido, 69, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on February 9, 1946 in Danville, the daughter of Frank and Edith (Pichon) Sporcich. She married Ronald Candido on July 30, 1966 in Danville at St. Patricks Catholic Church. He survives. She will be deeply missed by Ron and their son, Christopher (Jennifer) Candido of Danville, one brother, Frank Sporcich of Danville, one grandson, Camron Anderson, one step grandson, Brady Spickard and special friends, Cindy and Brian Anderson. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Sporcich. Carol enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, her flowers on the deck, watching all the species of birds they had at the house, reading, crossword puzzles, collecting piano and accordion memorabilia. Her greatest joys were her family, especially Chris and Camron. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville with Fr. Greg Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville from 2:00-4:00 PM.
