Carol A. Keller

Carol A. Keller, of Richlands, North Carolina, formerly of Danville, IL, passed away with her family by her side at 7:13 PM on August 21, 2023, at her home. Carol was born on March 14, 1953, to Russell and Annabeth Stark of Danville, IL. She met the love of her life, Franklin Keller, and was married on August 31, 1974, in Danville, IL. He will miss her dearly. Together Frank and Carol share two children, Russell (Lynn)Keller of Crawfordsville, IN, and James (Amy)Keller of Richlands, NC, and their four grandchildren, Cascie, Cayden Keller of Crawfordsville, IN, and Logan and Mason Keller of Richlands, NC. Carol also had one loving sister/best friend, Laura Stark of Indianapolis, IN, and her mother-in-law, Pat Keller, Danville, IL. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Russell, 28 years to the day. She is also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Norman Keller; her grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carol attended Danville High School and graduated in 1971. She worked at TeePak for over 30 years until she retired in 2014 before moving to Richlands, NC. She enjoyed golf, euchre, friends, but most of all, she absolutely loved watching her family live life, whether watching baseball, soccer, or barrel racing, she enjoyed her kids and grandkids. A celebration of Carols life will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Monday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, IL.
