Carla Clawson

Carla Anne Clawson, 73, of Danville, passed away at 1:28 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on March 1, 1940 in Danville, the daughter of Carl and Stella (Zahnow) Thomas. She married Richard Clawson on June 29, 1957 in Danville. He survives. Surviving her are two sons- Tracy and Eric Clawson, one daughter- Rachel Braunstadter, four grandchildren- Cody, Elliotte, Rowan Clawson and Rayne Braunstadter. Carla was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers- Walter, Paul, Donald, Loyal, John Thomas and two sisters- Bonnie McCullum and Mary June Thomas. She loved horses when she was younger and was an avid horsewoman. Carla also liked sketching and painting. A Celebration of Carlas Life will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Danville.
