Carl V. Swim

Covington, Ind. - Carl V. Swim, 72, of Covington, passed away at 4:09 p.m. EST Monday, February 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 29, 1939 in Danville, Illinois, the son of the late Harold O. and Opal McClain Swim. Survivors include two sons, Robert S. Swim of Austin, Texas and Tony(Michelle)Swim of Horn Lake, Mississippi; one sister, Iona(Walt)Lister of Portland Arch, Indiana. Carl was a self employed carpenter. He was a 1958 graduate of Perrysville High School. Carl enjoyed spending time outdoors. There will be no services. Burial of cremains will be at Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana at a later date.
