Candice Lynn Roina

Candice Lynn Roina, 50, of Westville, passed away at 2:11pm, Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her home. She was born on May 20, 1967, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Darlene {Golcynski} Philpot. She is survived by: her mother & stepfather, Darlene & Bill Morgan of Ridge Farm; her life partner, Wade McKinley; her son, Matthew Roina of Hawaii; and her brother, Claude Morgan. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Philpot. Candice was a Veteran of the US Navy. She had worked at Steelgrip in Danville. She was known to love animals, especially cats. She would help anyone who would ask. She was kind and considerate and will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday prior to her service. Memorial donations may be given to the family for final expenses.
