Caleb Starkey, 28, born on June 12, 1997, in Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on March 31, 2026, in Covington, Indiana, after a courageous battle with mental illness. His life, though tragically cut short, was marked by an enduring love for people and a heartfelt desire to help everyone he encountered.
Caleb was known for his warm and generous spirit. He loved animals deeply and found joy in the company of all creatures. His passions included participating in local pool leagues, playing basketball, skateboarding, and immersing himself in video games. These interests reflected his vibrant and active nature, bringing happiness to those around him.
He was cherished by a family who held him close with unwavering love. Caleb’s mother, Christina Beckelhymer, and stepfather, Seth Hayman, stood faithfully by his side.
