C. Wayne Buckert

Clarence "Wayne" Buckert, 81, of Georgetown, IL passed away 7:44 a.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013 at North Logan Health Care in Danville, IL. He was born April 21, 1932 in Las Vegas, NV, spent his childhood in Hawaii, and spent most of his life in Ventura County, CA. He is survived by his wife, of 21 years, Sandy Buckert, his three children, Jayne Buckert of Tyler, TX, John Buckert of Katy, TX, and Darcy Cotton of Valparaiso IN, as well as Sandy's children Tammy Hale of Georgetown, IL, Scott Martin of Saratoga, UT, and Lisa Rivera of Oxnard, CA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorials can be sent in his name to the Vermillion County Animal Shelter Foundation at P.O. Box 965, Danville, IL 61834, (217) 431-0332. Per Wayne's wishes, he will be cremated. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home assisted his family.
