C. Murray Jordan

Clair Murray Jordan, 64, passed away on October 17, 2015 at his home in Danville, IL. He was born the son of Clair Melvin "Salty" and Betty Ruth (Murray) Jordan on December 1, 1950. Murray is survived by his two sons Clair Matthew (Tonya) Jordan and Christopher Mikael (Kim) Jordan; four grandchildren Kathleen Marie Lynn Jordan, Jacob Matthew Clair Jordan, Alexandria Lynn Jordan, and Kaleb Matthew Jordan; one brother Marc Jordan; one niece and nephew; and special friends Alan & Kathy Roy. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Margo Jordan Carr. Murray was very active in the lives of his grandchildren, he was a member of the Elks Club, and enjoyed scuba diving. He was the one person you could call when something needed to be fixed. "Do or do not. There is no try." A memorial visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Wednesday October 21, 2015 from 4-7pm. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery on Thursday October 22 at 10am.
