Marline worked for the Mahomet Post Office for 28 years as a rural carrier and was very active in the Rural Carriers Association. She loved her job and the many customers that she called good friends. After retirement, she worked part-time at Rasmussen Pools and Pages for All Ages.

She was a faithful member of the Mahomet United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School and served on various committees. She was active in the Mahomet Town and Country Womens Club and held the position of president in 1972. She loved helping her boys with Cub and Boy Scouts for several years, and supported her husbands business, Keslers Garage, for three decades.

She especially loved being with her family and spending time together. She was a very proud grandma of Tara and loved being with Izzy and Mikey, even traveling out of state several times to be with them. She also enjoyed getting together with her dear friends to play Bunko, go to Red Hat events and take trips to plays and musicals. She and Wally also enjoyed traveling to Florida in the Winter months and Indiana to the cabin during the summer and fall.
