Bruce Jay Wills

Bruce Jay Wills, 79, of Danville, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare Systems Hospital in Danville. He was born March 22, 1926 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Donald and Ruth (Smith) Wills. He married Mary Louise Frazier on June 6, 1977 in Danville, Illinois, she survives. Also surviving are: two step-sons- Ronald L. (Patricia Sue) Miller and Charles W. (Joy) Miller, Jr. " both of Georgetown; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great grandchildren. His parents, one brother- Donald Wills and his half-sister- Ruby Wilson preceded him in death. Bruce proudly served his county during WWII in the US Army. He worked as a book-keeper for Standard Oil company in Indiana for many years. He was a former member of the American Legion in Westville, member of New Life Christian Church in Danville and was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts, Wigwam of Tomahak Tribe #517. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved to watch T.V.
