Bruce Elder

Bruce E. Elder passed away on July 15, 2006 at 4:18 pm in his home. He was born January 20, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to William and Theda Elder. He grew up in New Port Richey, Florida where he made many great friendships and memories. He graduated from Gulf High School in 1970. He married Pamela Jordan on May 6, 1984. He spent many years helping people in social services, traveling the country promoting concerts, and starting various businesses. He spent four years in Germany and traveled throughout Europe. His family and friends were the joy of his life. He was a great story teller and enjoyed making people laugh. He had a zest for life and a love for people. He was survived by his sister, Linda Witt; brother, David Elder; wife, Pamela Elder; and son, Rob Elder. A Celebration of Bruces life will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Doug Hummer officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
