Bruce Cunningham

Westville - Cunningham Bruce Allen Cunningham, 62, of Westville IL., passed away at 7:53 pm on September 30, 2013 at his home in Westville, IL. The son of Myron and June (Hearnley) Cunningham, he was born on December 16, 1950 in Danville IL. He married Christa Stockinger of Germany on June 24, 1978 in Danville IL.; she survives. Other survivors include his sons - Brian K. (Rhiannon) Cunningham Sr. and Jason D. Cunningham, both of Westville; gradchildren Brian Jr., Shaedrean, and Deborah Cunningham, Warren and Jonathan Holden, Leannalynn and Hailie Cunningham, Makinzie and Haylie George; brothers - Randy (Cheri) Cunningham of Huntsville AL., Jeff Cunningham and Scott Cunningham, both of Danville; a niece - Katie Cunningham; and many loving in-laws living in Germany. He was preceded in death by his Father. A graduate from Bismarck High School, Bruce served in the army Reserves and also attended Junior College for two years. He worked and retired from Conway. Bruce enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. He is an avid Illini fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bruce will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. The family would like to thank everyone who helped during this time of need. A celebration of Bruces life will be held at 10:00 am on October 4, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville IL. with Pastor Miles Clark officiating and burial at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on October 3, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
