Bruce Cadman

Fithian Bruce Cadman, 68, of Fithian passed away at 2:26 PM on October 20, 2020 at his home in Fithian.

Bruce was born on June 21, 1952 the son of Robert Dean and Elizabeth June (Young) Cadman in Danville, IL. He married Mala Kristine Harden on March 17, 1973 in Danville, IL and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Mala Cadman of Fithian, three children, Adam (Brenda) Cadman, Tina Cadman, and Brandon Cadman, daughter-in-law, Emily Cadman, three sisters, Teresa (Donnie) Fitzsimmons, Pamala (Martin) Mullinax and Melisa (John) Butler, seven grandchildren, Devin Burns, Jade Cadman, Luke Cadman, Regan Cadman, Adrian Bishop, Warren Cadman and Sophia Cadman Unseld.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Nicolas Cadman, one sister, Sue Quzts, and two nephews, Andrew Fitzsimmons and Tyler Butler.

Bruce was a member of Muncie Baptist Church and worked a variety of jobs during his lifetime. He was a boat mechanic at the Crows Nest Marine and The Boat Shop, worked for the Vermilion County Conservation District at Kennekuk County Park, was a Salesman for Danville Industrial Supply Company, and was a Radio Controlled Helicopter repairman for Hobbico Warehouse in Champaign, IL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Oakwood, Illinois 105 East S. Main St. Oakwood, Illinois 61858. Pastor Dave Garver will officiate. Burial will be in Stearns Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home in Oakwood.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of service and/or visitation wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made in Bruces memory to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
