Brittany Jo Smith

Danville- Brittany Jo Smith 32, of Danville, left this life together with her mother, Brenda at 4:16 p.m. on Saturday (March 7, 2015) as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident west of Sadorus, IL. Brittany was born on Dec. 8, 1982 in Danville. She was the daughter of Bradley J. and Brenda J Claypool Smith. Surviving is her father Bradley Smith of Danville and her sister Bethany (Zachary) Wrensch of Madison Wisconsin. Her maternal grandparents Norman and Norma Claypool of Bismarck and her paternal grandmother Joanne Smith. Her maternal great grandmother Elizabeth DeNeal of Danville. Also several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and several dear friends. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Donald Smith, a maternal great grandfather, and her paternal great grandparents. Brittany worked as a crew person for McDonalds on South Gilbert in Danville for almost 10 years. She also took great pride in her cleaning duties at Northside Church of Christ in Bismarck where she was also an active member. Brittany loved riding horses at Kickapoo State Park. She loved to read and would check out stacks of books from the library. If she didnt have her nose in a book, she would either be watching a movie or listening to music, or you may find her loving on her cat Sophie. She loved spending part of her summers at Antioch Bible Camp in Tennessee. Brittany loved people and once she met you, she would always greet you with a hug and a warm smile. She had a contagious laugh. Her love and her joy were boundless. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 18, 2015 at the Northside Church of Christ in Bismarck. Officiating the service will be Jim Russell. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in South Ross Twp.
