Bridget L. Smith-Klugow

Bridget L. Smith-Klugow, 36, passed away on December 28, 2017. She was born on March 17, 1981 to Carl and Glenda Smith. They survive. Also surviving include her son; Emmit Lee Klugow, her sons father; Justen Klugow, brother; Jeremy (Stefanie) Smith, sister; Patrina Smith, one niece; Emalee Smith, two nephews; Jace Smith and Blake Smith, aunt and uncle; Rick and Juanita McCoy, along with many cousins. Bridget was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Glen and Carol Hall, and her paternal grandparents; Jess and Mary Smith. Bridget loved to exercise and walk her dogs, people often called her Elly May Clampett. She had a flair for telling crazy stories, her coworkers loved to sit down and listen to the countless stories she had. She loved being a mother and was involved in many of Emmit's school activities. Bridget was a loving daughter, mother, and sister. She will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, IL. Officiating the service will be Ron Godly. Visitation will be held the evening prior from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
