Brian Masengale

Brian J. Masengale, 42, of Rossville, passed away at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Brian was born April 20, 1967, in Danville, the son of John and Donna (Miles) Masengale. Brian is survived by his two daughters, Ashley and Ellie Masengale of Potomac; his parents, John and Donna (Miles) Masengale of Rossville; one sister, Sue (Brad) Burton of Hoopeston; and two nephews, Tanner and Colby Burton of Hoopeston. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and special aunts, Sharon Bassett and Darlene Seaman. Brians greatest joy was spending time with his two daughters, Ashley and Ellie. He loved NASCAR, trucking and farming. He was the owner of Brian Masengale Trucking. A Celebration of Brians Life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, with the Rev. Ann Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the funeral home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
