Brian Lane Clem

Danville - Brian Lane Clem, 55, of Danville, IL passed away on January 16, 2018 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. He was born on October 27, 1962 in Danville, IL to Frank D. and Glenda L. (Lane) Clem. He was a Westville High School graduate and graduated DACC with an Associate's Degree in Horticulture. Brian served in the US Navy in the early 80's. He was in charge of maintenance and custodial care at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville for over 14 years. He loved spending time with his family and traveling when he could. He was an avid Illini, Bears and Cardinals fan. Brian enjoyed The Weather Channel, golfing fishing and bowling. Brian is survived by his daughters, Maggie (Chris) Jurumbo, Amanda (Sean Collins) Clem of Danville, IL; brothers, Chris A. Clem of Miami, FL, Dane (Kathleen) Clem of Dallas, TX, Joseph (Brandy) Clem of Macon, MO; grandchildren, Tristen and Aubrey Jurumbo and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Destiny Clem. Funeral services for Brian will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. He will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery.
